Annual Benefit
Open Mic Poetry Reading
Wasteland Poets will be
sponsoring our annual Food for the Heart & the Hungry Poetry
Reading on September 19, 2009. This reading has a two-fold
purpose: to "feed" the heart with poetry from many area poets, and
to "feed" the physically hungry with a food collection for the Food
Pantry of Waukesha County. We believe we all need both.
This event has grown over the past five years, offering an
outstanding opportunity for our local community to hear local
talent, and to come together to help those in need in our own
backyard. Please feel free to print and distribute the
