Food for the Heart & the Hungry
In 2004, the Wasteland Poets sponsored
the first "Food for the Heart & the Hungry Poetry Reading" to
benefit the Food Pantry of Waukesha County. The idea behind this
event was to "feed" the heart with words of poetry as well as
feeding the hungry with food donations. So, not only do we have a
great time, we help our community as well!
The 5th
annual "Food for the Heart & the Hungry Poetry Reading" will be:

We'll have
refreshments, door prizes, music, and bookstore discounts. Poets are
also welcome to sell their books at the reading.
